Scope and contact
This policy covers the Bike Connect website and planned rider community application. For privacy questions, contact support@bikeconnect.in. The legal operator’s identity and contact details will be confirmed before the app launches.
Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, the app may collect:
- Account and profile information: contact details, login identifiers, display name, profile photo, biography and riding preferences.
- Bike information: motorcycle make, model, photos and details you choose to add to your garage.
- User-generated content: posts, photos, comments, messages and content reports.
- Ride participation: rides you organize or join, route and meeting details, participant information and related communications.
- Support information: messages and information you send when requesting help or exercising privacy rights.
Do not post sensitive documents, passwords or information about other people without permission.
Location and device information
Nearby-rider and ride-discovery features may use location information with your permission. The level of location precision, whether it is stored, and its visibility to others will be described in the final app and updated policy. Background location collection is not confirmed by this draft.
You can manage location permissions in your device settings. Some location-based features may be unavailable without permission. Ride meeting points and locations you choose to share may be visible to other participants.
The app may process device and operating-system information, app version, network information, push notification tokens, crash reports and usage diagnostics to deliver notifications and maintain reliability. The final analytics and diagnostic tools and their data collection must be confirmed before release.
How information is used
Information may be used to create and secure accounts, display profiles and garages, help riders discover each other, organize rides, enable messages and posts, deliver permitted notifications, respond to support requests, investigate abuse and maintain or improve the service. Where required, the applicable legal basis and any consent choices will be explained before processing begins.
Visibility and data sharing
Profile information, motorcycles, posts and ride details you share may be visible to other users according to the feature and its audience settings. Group messages are intended for the relevant participants; recipients may retain or share content outside the service.
Service providers may process information on Bike Connect’s behalf to support hosting, account access, media storage, messaging, notifications or diagnostics. No particular provider has been confirmed in this policy. The final policy must identify relevant recipients, international processing arrangements and safeguards where applicable.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to investigate abuse or protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. This website includes no advertising trackers or analytics scripts.
Website and external services
This static website does not create accounts, collect form submissions or set application cookies. A hosting provider may process request information such as IP addresses and access logs to serve and secure the site. Email links open your email service; future app-store links will lead to external services with their own privacy policies. The hosting provider and its retention practices must be confirmed before publication.
Retention and account deletion
Retention periods and the final deletion workflow are not yet finalized. Before launch, this policy must explain how long each category is retained, including backup copies and any records needed for legal, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
To request account deletion or ask about associated data, follow the account deletion instructions. Support may need to verify ownership. Requesting deletion does not itself immediately delete information. Support will need to explain the available process, timing and any applicable retention. Your choices and rights

Bike Connect is designed for motorcycle riders and is not directed at children. The minimum account age and any jurisdiction-specific safeguards must be finalized before launch. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support so the concern can be reviewed and appropriate action determined. Riding always requires compliance with applicable age, licensing and road-safety rules.

This policy may change as the product develops or legal requirements change. The updated version and revision date will be posted here. Material changes will be communicated, and consent sought where required, through appropriate channels once the app is available.
